La primer visita del Campeonato del Mundo de Rally en Estonia comenzó con Ott Tänak (Hyundai), registrando el mejor tiempo del shakedown.
El tramo de prueba para el WRC en territorio estonio ha concluido, y la dupla actual campeona del mundo Tänak-Martin Järveoja se quedaron con el tiempo más veloz. Su tiempo fue de 2:56.8, casi dos segundos por delante de la dupla finlandesa Esapekka Lappi/Janne Ferm (M-Sport Ford), que registraron 2:58.3.
El tercer lugar fue para el binomio también finés de Kalle Rovanperä/Jonne Haltunen (Toyota), tras marcar un 2:58.4.
Con Tänak, un total de cinco estonios están entre los 25 pilotos más rápidos, ya que también se llevan a cabo carreras por el campeonato WRC2 y WRC3.
La siguiente actividad para el Rally Mundial en Estonia será a la hora 13:08 de la Argentina, ya con el primer tramo oficial de carrera que será nocturno.
