Córdoba Competición Todo sobre el deporte motor
Los caminos de República Checa albergaron las especiales del jueves con el que el Rally Mundial cerró la jornada en el primer «Rally de Europa Central», penúltima cita del año, donde Kalle Rovanperä buscará revalidar el título de campeón que consiguió en 2022.
La jornada había comenzado de formar favorable para el estonio Ott Tanak, que lideró con 7 décimas de ventaja la primera especial de la carrera a bordo del Ford Puma, secundado por Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris).
Sin embargo, el segundo de ventaja que consiguió con respecto a Thierry Neuville no fue suficiente, pues el piloto de Hyundai lo aventajó por 2,2 segundos en la especial 2 y pasó al frente de la general.
Esta disputa en Europa Central ha llegado como una novedad al Rally Mundial, y consta del paso por tres países. Mañana, se disputará hasta la prueba N° 8 (aún en territorio checo) mientras que el sábado Austria será testigo de las etapas 9 a 13, enteramente en su territorio.
La jornada sabatina termina en Alemania, y el domingo se corren las últimas cuatro etapas alternando entre terrneo teutón y austríaco.
